You want to make learning fun?

I have taken my son to this area a few times for the playground and a view of the trains.  That being said, the family guy in my would love to see a second pedestrian bridge connecting this area in a large loop.  Nature stations identifying habitats, water patterns, local history, and fun facts about the area would be pretty fun.  To jump on Josh's ideas, having some type of gardens or outdoor activities would attract more people to the area as well.

I do like that it is connected to the greenway so coupling bike/walking activities to the area would also be a secondary draw.

This is a great area that could really use some beautification.  I loved the ideas of botanical gardens and educational kiosks for families to enjoy as they walk, bike, or just allow our kids to play on the playground.  I would like to see more access to the river is this area for families to enjoy together.  I hope the future allows for sport fishing as well as floating in tubes or kayaks within the city of Pocatello.

Botanical gardens are beautiful.  I like the idea of sports fishing as well as seeing the city create an area for floating tubes.  The park in downtown Boise,  by the college, rents floating equipment so the people can use it in the water, like paddle boats.  That woulld be awesome for the citezens to utilize within the communitee.  Idaho Falls has added a fishing pond for children to fish at, which is located on the same exit as the new Toyota dealer.  There are many things to think about to improve the human benefits of a recreational park
