Quick questions: how did the water levels and temperatures vary this year from last due to the tremendous snow fall this year? I have read several folks referring to the cloudyness of the water as compared to last year. What caused these differences?
Thanks!

We're still collecting data and haven't don't any comparing yet. Our float today was only 45 minute and in years past it took 1.5 hours.
that was fast
Wow, 45 minutes vs 1.5 hours! That was fast - thanks for the update.

My impressions were that the flow is high and will remain high for a longer period than usual because of the snowpack. There has been some flooding, more than in a typical year, but not sure how this year compares to historical years. The sediment load source was suggested to be mainly caused by non point source stream bank erosion, which probably increases with higher and faster water levels.
thanks!
Thank you for the observations. I will be interested to see if there are areas that you study where the sediment load is less or more than yesterday's observations.
